PRODUCTION ENGINEERING

Over the years, Norden has been involved in many production engineering jobs, and accumulated vital information on improving productivity. This experience has been turned into an in-house developed software package called “NordenWorks” by our highly skilled developers, who are also Naval Architects.

NorSteel is the module for 3D modeling of structures. It is fully automated and can generate shop drawings, nestings, profile and steel bending information and material lists.

NorPipe is the module for 3D modeling of pipes and ventilation systems, capable of generating P&ID’s, isometrics, shop drawings, nestings and material lists.

Naviscom is the module for stability calculations and It can generate stability booklets. This module can also be used independently and installed onboard vessels as a loading software. So far, over 100 vessels are using this module successfully in daily operation.

Apart from NordenWorks, we do have a number of commercial softwares available at our disposal.
