NORDEN ECO1 is engineered to minimize the environmental impact and built according to RINA GREEN+ class notation. The vessel has Green Passports complying with ship recycling recommendations.

In order to have the highest optimization in all aspects of design, extensive FE Analysis has been performed, to achieve an optimum steel weight for the vessel. These efforts allowed the vessel to have a high cargo carrying capacity, with class leading low fuel consumption and enviromental impact.
Hull Structure and Piping is modeled using an in-house developed software, through wich production documentation is generated automatically. 3D Modelling of the vessel prevents the interference of stcuture and systems, optimising the material usage and reduce re-work at shipyard
